What’s the best Enneagram test?
There are lots of Enneagram tests out there. From free to higher end, you can find many options.
Back in the pre-internet days, if you wanted to know your Enneagram type you would find a teacher to guide you. You’d commit to studying the framework and observing yourself over time, noticing the emergence of your type in everyday interactions. Then debrief with your teacher to identify your core type. It’s similar to yoga back in the day before there were power classes and Chat GBT taught you everything you needed to know.
“When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready... The teacher will Disappear.”
―Tao Te Ching
Most of us in today’s fast-paced realities benefit from taking a test. After 30 minutes online you get results that at best identify your core type, at minimum point you in a direction to learn more.
Not all tests are the same. All require self-awareness.
Having studied the Enneagram for years I’ve come to love one test in particular. It’s called the Integrative9 Enneagram. It’s robust and comprehensive, applicable to both the personal and professional.
